MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College athletics department has announced its weekly award winners, naming sophomore Tori Rockefeller (Bloomville, N.Y.) and junior Bailey Dillabough (Massena, N.Y.) the Co-Mustang Athletes of the Week for the week ending Feb. 4.
Rockefeller led the women’s basketball team to a 2-1 week with her stellar play on the court as she averaged 26.3 points per game, shot 50% from the floor and netted a total 12 three's across the week.
She began her week with a career high 35 points in a loss to Cazenovia, where she shot 59.1% from the floor, and 54.5% from beyond the arc draining 6-of-11 three's. In that same contest she added five steals while playing 38 minutes. Rockefeller added 22 points in the win over Gallaudet where she was 64.3% from the floor, while adding three assists, three rebounds and another steal to her tallies.
She wrapped up the week with another 22 point outing in the win over Abington, hitting five three's, while collecting six rebounds and two steals, assisting three. In all, the sophomore posted 10 rebounds, seven assists and eight steals.
The sophomore is a graduate of South Kortright High and is majoring in criminal justice at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Trina and Brett Rockefeller of Bloomville.
