MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Senior guard Jordan Anderson (West Edmeston, N.Y.) and freshman forward Maddison Devlin (Campbell River, British Columbia) have been named the Morrisville State College Mustang Co-Athletes of the Week following their individual performances on the playing field for the week ending February 5.
Anderson paced Morrisville State women's basketball to a 2-1 week, averaging 12.7 points per game and 9.3 assists per game for the Mustangs in conference play.
In the midweek battle with SUNY Poly, Anderson posted 11 points and dished out 12 assists in 40 minutes of play. She followed that performance with 10 points, five rebounds and a career high 15 assists against Keuka College, while adding six steals to her tallies in the win.
Anderson wrapped up her week with a 17 point, five rebound, and five steal outing against Wells College. On the week the senior tallied 38 points, 12 rebounds, 28 assists and 12 steals.
Devlin contributed to a 1-1 weekend for the Mustangs women's hockey team, posting two goals against Endicott College.
In Friday afternoon's battle, Devlin collected a rebound and put the puck home to give the Mustangs a 2-0 lead at the 7:31 mark of the third period. Her second goal of the weekend came early in the second period in the eventual 3-2 loss.
Devlin finished with a +1 rating while on the ice for the Mustangs over the weekend.
