Eric Rogers joined the department staff as Director of Intramurals and Open Recreation in the fall 2015.
Rogers served as the assistant women's soccer coach for two seasons and was responsible for the defensive unit, while fulfilling the assistant director of intramurals position.
Rogers earned his associates of science degree in business administration from Morrisville State in May of 2003 where he was a member of the men’s soccer program at defense. He continued his education at SUNY Cortland, majoring in sports management, earning his bachelor’s degree in 2006.
During his time at Cortland, he was involved in several athletic department events and activities, including ticket sales, security, event management and game staffing. He cultivated his education with an internship at Morrisville State in athletics, overseeing several initiatives, including reporting on the college’s transition from the NJCAA to NCAA Division III athletics.
Rogers also served as a promotion intern with the Syracuse Salty Dogs professional soccer club during the summer of 2004.
An active member in the soccer community, Rogers obtained his certification in January 2011 and is a referee with the U.S. Soccer Federation.
