MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State College western riders, Lea Inhaber-Courchesne (Westborough, Mass.) and Alysha Hardy (Orange, Mass.) wrapped up the 2018 riding season Sunday with a top 10 finish at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Western National Championship Finals held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Inhaber-Courchesne had a third place ride for the Mustangs in the intermediate western horsemanship individual class, in her first competition on the national stage among the field of 10 competitors.
Hardy rode her way to a fourth place finish in the novice western individual horsemanship class, again, among the field of 10 total competitors.
Both riders were the first to finish in the top five since the 2011-12 season for the Mustangs.
