Hunt seat team rides to third place finish at own show
MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State College's hunt seat team rode to a third place team finish Saturday, at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Morrisville show held at the Fearon Road riding arena.

Morrisville State compiled 34 team points with three collecting blue ribbons. Skidmore was show champion with 43 team points, while Hartwick earned reserve honors with their 38 team point performance.

Meghan Hunsinger (Cato, N.Y.) turned in a top ride in the intermediate equitation over fences class, while teammate Phoebe Leger (New Paltz, N.Y.) finished at the top of the class in novice equtation over fences.

Alexis Stasinos (Peabody, Mass.) wrapped up blue ribbon winners for the Mustangs with a first place ride in the beginner walk trot canter class.

Kayla Titus (Staten Island, N.Y.) qualified for regionals on April 2nd with her third place finish in the novice over fences class.

The IHSA Regional Championships are held at Skidmore College.
