COBLESKILL, N.Y. – Morrisville State College freshman Darren Young (Woodstock, ON) shot a +12 at the SUNY Cobleskill Invitational held at the Cobleskill Golf 7 Country Club, a 70-par, 6,163 yard course, Friday afternoon to lead the Mustangs to a sixth place finish overall.
Young's finish tied him for 16th overall in the field of 42 golfers.
Alex Petroff (Cazenovia, N.Y.), Brandon Davis (Fayetteville, N.Y.), Steve Dol (Ingersoll, ON), Dan Morrello (Vaughan, ON), and Zac McMichael (Bancroft, ON) all scored for the Mustangs, as they finished with an overall score of 363.
Morrisville State returns to the fairways Monday, traveling to the SUNY Oswego Invitational.
