MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's golf team finished sixth overall at the Keuka College Fall Invitational held Thursday, compiling 330 points at the par-72, 6,549 yard course at the Lakeside Country Club in Penn Yan.
SUNY Delhi won the event, finishing with 309 strokes, as Elmira and Oswego each tied with 312 to round out the top three.
Darren Young (Woodstock, Ontario) led Morrisville State with a score of 80 strokes, tying for 12th overall, while Zac McMichael (Bancroft, Ontario) was just one stroke behind with an 81, tying for 17th with teammate Marc-Antoine Chaput (Mascouche, Quebec).
Brandon Davis (Manlius, N.Y.) finished with score of 88 for the round, tying for 30th, as Tim Vara (Rochester, N.Y.) completed Mustang scoring with 97 strokes, 36th overall.
Morrisville State returns to the courses October 17th at the Rutgers Camden Invitational.
