Morrisville State golf 9th at Rutgers Camden Invitational

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's golf team finished ninth overall among 17 teams Friday afternoon, shooting a team total 337 strokes on the Pennsauken Country Club par-70, 6,250 yard course in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

Messiah College won the invitational with a team score of 304 strokes, while a total six strokes separated teams that finished in 5th through 9th positions, respectively.

Darren Young (Woodstock, N.Y.) finished nine over par on the course, tying for 14th overall in the field of 87, while teammate Brandon Davis (Manlius, N.Y.) shot a 85 to finish tied for 34th.

Layne Martin (Findlay, Ohio) finished one stroke behind Davis and tied for 38th, while Zac McMichael (Bancroft, Ontario) and Zach Baker (Denver, Colo.) rounded out team scoring for the Mustangs as the fourth and fifth finishers, respectively.

Morrisville State wrapped up the fall schedule and will return to the fairways in the spring.
