MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Senior Brandon Davis (Fayetteville, N.Y.) finished with an individual score of 79 strokes Monday afternoon to tie for fifth place overall as he led Morrisville State College to a seventh place team finish at the Oswego State Fall Invitational in Oswego.
Davis finished +8 on the 71 par course, as Morrisville State compiled a team score of 339 (+55).
Layne Martin (Findlay, Ohio) and Cody Holmes (Fort Plain, N.Y.) finished tied for 23rd with scores of 85 on the day, while teammate Jesse Pflaumer (Elba, N.Y.) turned in a 33rd place finish among the field of 42 with his score of 90.
Tim Vara (Rochester, N.Y.) rounded out team scoring with 104 strokes.
Morrisville State returns to the greens next Tuesday at the Elmira Fall Invitational.
