MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's golf team enters its fifth season of competition Friday at the SUNY Cobleskill Invitational, and will rely on its returning class to carry the Mustangs through the 2017-18 season.
Morrisville State, who was ranked seventh overall in the preseason North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) coaches poll, return a core of seven to its roster this season, including seniors Layne Martin (Findlay, Ohio) and Jesse Pflaumer (Elma, N.Y.).

"We are very excited for the upcoming golf season," said head coach Kevin Krogol.
"With the great core group of returners led by seniors Layne Martin and Jesse Pflaumer, and the addition of some fresh faces, we are in a great position to again take steps forward as a program and continue to work towards our ultimate goal of a NEAC championship."
Play gets underway at the Cobleskill Country Club at noon Friday.
