Mustang golf finishes 9th at Keuka Fall Invite  


PENN YAN, N.Y. – The Morrisville State men's golf team hit the fairways at the Keuka College Fall Invitational Wednesday, finishing ninth overall in team standings.

  • Morrisville State finished 9th overall among 11 competing teams.
  • Junior Nick DeVito (Averill Park, N.Y.) paced the Mustangs with an 18-hole score of 81, +9 over par, to finish tied for 16th in individual standings among 60 competitors.
  • Justin Seltzer (Syracuse, N.Y.) made his collegiate debut, finishing tied for 30th overall with his score of 85 (+13), followed by Sam DePasquale (Marcy, N.Y.) with a score of 94.
  • Ben Sprague (Massena, N.Y.) shot a 96 for the day, and sophomore Joe Lane (Byron, N.Y.) returned to the greens for the first time in 2018, finishing with 100 strokes.


  • The Mustangs return to the fairways, Tuesday, September 25 at the Elmira College Fall Invitational at the Elmira Country Club.
