Morrisville Shut Out by Buffalo State, 4-0

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Mustangs were shut out 4-0 at Buffalo State on Friday night in the first game of their SUNYAC series.

The host Bengals scored twice in the first period to jump out to a quick lead and never looked back. Buffalo State tacked on a goal in the second period and another in the third for the 4-0 victory.

MJ Maerkel (Binghamton, N.Y.) and Danny Liscio (Woodbridge, Ontario) each tallied five shots on goal, but were unable to get anything by the Bengals' goalie, Mike DeLavergne, who recorded his second shutout of the year. 

The Mustangs will return home to host the Bengals tomorrow evening at 7 PM in the IcePlex.­­
