Geswaldo earns weekly honor from NEAC, named Offensive Player of the Week

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its weekly award winners in men's lacrosse, naming Morrisville State College sophomore attackman, Nick Geswaldo (Lafayette, N.Y.) the Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending April 9.

Geswaldo led Morrisville State to a 2-0 week within conference play, netting a combined 14 points on eight goals and six assists as the Mustangs improved to 3-0 in NEAC action.

The sophomore posted a nine point outing in a rematch of last year's semifinal with Bryn Athyn, netting five goals and assisting four others, while grabbing a ground ball. He added to his total on Friday, with three additional scores and two more assists, while adding two ground balls and a caused turnover in the win over Wells.

A graduate of Lafayette High, Geswaldo is majoring in horticulture at Morrisville State. He is the son of Vicky and Louie Geswaldo of Lafayette.
