Morrisville State announces details surrounding NEAC Men's Lacrosse Championship Final, Saturday

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College athletics department has released the following details regarding this weekend's North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Men's Lacrosse Championship Final featuring Morrisville State College versus Cazenovia College, scheduled for 2 p.m. on Drake Field, that also coincides with the college's Commencement:

  • Parking: All lacrosse spectators will be directed to the Edward R. Andrews Elementary School parking lot, located on Eaton Srreet in Morrisville, and adjacent to the stadium facility. Those needing assistance to the entrance of the stadium gate, will be provided assistance. Due to commencement activities, parking WILL NOT be available on campus.
  • Tickets: Tickets for the NEAC Championship Final game will be available at the main gate to the stadium at 1 p.m. and cost $4 for adults, $2 for non-Morrisville State students (with ID) along with senior citizens. Children 12 and under will be admitted free of charge.
  • Tailgating: All spectators attending the event must abide by the college's tailgating policy:
  • To ensure a positive and safe experience for everyone, the athletic department and Morrisville State University Police will enforce the following procedures:
    • Charcoal grills and open pit fires are prohibited. Gas grills only at the designated area are permitted.
    • Morrisville State College is a dry campus. As such alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
    • All beverages consumed during the tailgate event must be consumed from cans or cups; no glass containers.
    • Respect others around you and the University property. Please remove your trash to the proper trash bins and recycle all recyclables.
    • All areas used for tailgating must be left in their original condition. Groups responsible for littering and trashing of areas used will be held accountable and face possibility of losing future privileges.
    • Any violations of this policy may result in termination of tailgate privileges and criminal prosecution and/or action taken through University Police.
