Utica, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's soccer team fell 2-0 against tough non-conference opponent Utica College Tuesday night.

The loss drops their record to 6-3-2 on the season, while Utica moves to 5-5 on the year.

Utica opened up with a quick goal in the 11th minute of the match coming from Shane Ruffing assisted by Jonathon Peterson.

The second goal by Utica coming in the 70th minute of the match, coming from Kevin McAllister off a ball sent into the box by Anthony Fotino.

Rob Larkin (Clinton, N.Y.) recorded the loss in goal, making eight saves in 90 minutes of play.

Anthony Caruso received the win for Utica, recording six saves.

Morrisville State returns to the pitch Saturday at Penn St. – Abington.
