McKoy Scores Two as Mustang Men Cruise Past Cazenovia 6-0

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Joe Sheehan (Liverpool, N.Y.) scored the eventual game winner just one minute and forty nine seconds into the match, but it was two second half goals by Jamieson McKoy (Basseterre, St. Kitts) that highlighted the Mustangs 6-0 win over Cazenovia College in the Route 20 rivalry match.

Sheehan's early unassisted goal was followed twelve minutes later when Griffen MacWatters (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) found the back of the net off of a pass from Sheehan.

The match stayed at 2-0 in favor of Morrisville throughout the rest of the first half.  However, just over eight minutes in to the second half, the flood gates opened for the Mustangs as they scored four goals in 21 minutes of action.  Julian Rodriquez (Bronx, N.Y.) put the Mustangs up 3-0 on an unassisted goal.

The third goal of the match was quickly followed up by McKoy's back-to-back scores, bringing the score to 5-0.  Kossi Philippe Nodjo (New York City, N.Y.) provided the exclamation point on the victory with the team's six goal in the 74th minute.

Eric Berglund (Elmira, N.Y.) picked up the win and the shut out, stopping all three shots he faced.
