Morrisville State releases 2018 men’s soccer schedule  


MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State announced its 2018 men's soccer schedule, featuring a full line-up of non-conference and North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) competition across an 18-game slate .

Head coach Kyle Graves (90-48-2 overall record, 8 years) returns to the pitch for an ninth season, and will quickly prep the Mustangs for their season opener scheduled on the road at non-conference rival SUNY Oswego on Friday, August 31st.

Morrisville State will open September's action on the road at the CIAO Classic the following weekend, hitting the field against host MCLA on Friday before meeting Union College on Saturday.

The Mustangs will play host to Buffalo State on the 11th in their home opener, serving as one final tune-up before opening the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) slate on Drake Field against Keuka on the 15th.

Morrisville State heads down Route 20 to rival Cazenovia on the 18th, before returning home for a dual with Wells College on the 22nd.

They wrap up the month with three straight on the road, the first at non-league Nazareth on the 25th, followed by a trip south to Penn St. Abington on the 29th and College of St. Elizabeth on the 30th.

The Mustangs meet longtime opponent SUNY Cobleskill on the Fighting Tiger turf on October 3rd, and play host to Penn St. Berks on the 6th as they kick off October's action with conference action.

Back-to-back road trips, the first to Penn College on the 13th and another to Utica College on the 16th follow, before Morrisville State wraps up the regular season schedule with four straight home battles, the first against Gallaudet on the 20th.

Lancaster Bible rolls into town on the 21st, followed by SUNY Geneseo on the 24th for the final non-conference outing of the year, in preparation for the clash with rival SUNY Polytechnic in the home finale on the 27th.
