MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State Men's Cross Country team ran to a 22nd place finish at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational.
Byron Evans (Cazenovia, N.Y.) finished 51st out of 318 total runners in an event that featured runners from colleges in New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Evans lowered his time from a week ago, finishing the 8k race in 27:32.6.
Justin Depue (Homer, N.Y.) was the second to finish for Morrisville, posting a time of 31:23.5. Also finishing under 32 minutes for the Mustangs was Isaiah Evans (Cazenovia, N.Y.) and Ben Seale (Chittenango, N.Y.) with times of 31:32.7 and 31:42.9 respectively.
Mason Craine (Red Creek, N.Y.) rounded out the scoring runs for the Mustangs with a time of 33:17.4.
The Mustangs will travel to Rochester, N.Y. again next weekend for the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, September 24.
