MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Senior Byron Evans (Cazenovia, N.Y.) finished 19th overall to lead the visiting Morrisville State College men's cross country team to a 16th team finish at the Roberts Wesleyan Harry F. Anderson Invitational Saturday in Rochester.
Evans crossed the finish line in 26:32.0 for the 8K race and was followed by Justin Depue (Homer, N.Y.) who finished 91st overall with a time of 29:42.5.
Isaiah Evans (Cazenovia, N.Y.) scored third for Morrisville State, posting a time of 30:31.5 to finish 103rd overall, before Ben Seale (Chittenango, N.Y.) was fourth to cross for the Mustangs in 31:10.4 (110th).
Andrew Blue (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) rounded out team scoring with a time of 31:28.2, 116th overall in the field of 213 runners.
Morrisville State returns to the courses next Saturday at the Lancaster Bible College Invitational in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Oswego was the invite team winner, placing two individual runners in the top 10.
