Morrisville State to run at NCAA Atlantic Regionals Saturday

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Seven runners from the men's cross country team and one from the women's team will be representing Morrisville State College at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Atlantic Regional Championships held at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey on Saturday.

Sophomore Raylene Wade (Red Creek, N.Y.) will be representing the Mustangs in the 6K women's race, set to have a shot gun start at 11 a.m.

Wade, a two-time All-Conference honoree for the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC), finished fifth overall at the championship meet on October 29.

On the men's side, NEAC Champion Byron Evans (Cazenovia, N.Y.) will be leading the pack of seven Mustang runners in the 8K event, set to start at 12 p.m. Evans, a four-time All-Conference selection and 25th place finisher at last year's Mid East Regionals, will be joined by six additional teammates for the race.

Andrew Blue (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.), Owen Braun (Fulton, N.Y.), Mason Craine (Red Creek, N.Y.), Justin Depue (Homer, N.Y.), Isaiah Evans (Cazenovia, N.Y.) and Ben Seale (Chittenango, N.Y.) will also be representing Morrisville State.
