Morrisville State drops first game of double-header to Nazareth College, 8-0.

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State College softball team dropped the first game of a double header Saturday afternoon, falling to Nazareth College by an 8-0 final score in five innings.

Brittany Keator (Roxbury, N.Y.) recorded the loss on the mound for the Mustangs, throwing for three innings and giving up seven runs off five hits by the Golden Flyers. Keator also recorded four strikeouts in the game. Allison McQuire (Gilboa, N.Y.) relieved Keator for one inning and gave up one run off three hits.

Nazareth jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning, before adding six runs in the last three innings to preserve the win.
