MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College women's lacrosse team learned their NCAA Division III Championship Tournament first round opponent Sunday night, and are heading to York College (PA) to take on St. John Fisher College, Saturday, May 13 at Kinsley Field.
Morrisville State (13-5) is making their second overall appearance in the tournament, claiming their second North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) title behind an 8-7 final win over rival Cazenovia Sunday.
St. John Fisher (14-4) battled from a fourth seeded position in the Empire 8 to claim the conference title and bid to the tournament, defeating Stevens 10-3 Sunday.
The winner will advance to the second round to Sunday, May 14, facing host York College.
