MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its weekly award winners Tuesday, naming Morrisville State College sophomore Raylene Wade (Red Creek, N.Y.) the co-Runner of the Week for the week ending Oct. 2 in cross country.
Wade paced the Mustang pack at the Lancaster Bible College Charger Invitational, collecting her first collegiate win among the field of 67, with a time of 25:38 in the 6K race to lead Morrisville State to a fourth place team finish on the day.
Her victory came on the heels of an eight second lead over the second place finisher.
The graduate of Red Creek High is majoring in human performance and health promotion at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Shannon and Thomas Wade of Red Creek.
